Red-bellied Woodpecker 1 (new regular visitor since this past winter)

I read with interest Meena's post about a late Chipping Sparrow, when I
just sat down for lunch and spotted on our feeder another 'late'
CHIPPING SPARROW. Perhaps those young ones are late leaving!

This morning I had my first WHITE-WINGED SCOTERS of the fall at Stewart
Park. It's interesting to compare frequency of scoter reports in eBird for
the Cayuga Basin:

seen early in the
