Got it too and am intrigued by it. It seems to address many of my goals for
birding id skills, like distance, jizz, and flying birds. He (Crossley)
will be at the Monday night seminar at the Lab of O on Feb 28. Also did the
guide to Shorebirds, same philosophy.

I am delighted to be watching two Red-wing Blackbirds at our feeders today, our
first of the season. The best part is that they take periodic breaks from
eating, to perch in a tree and trumpet their arrival. Even in this snowy gale,
it sounds like springtime.

I had my first of the year Dryden village Redpols this morning.
