I had to go to Syracuse this morning, so I drove over to Montezuma to
see what was there. My first sighting was John Confer. At the visitor's
center we saw a Bonaparte's Gull, both Yellowlegs, G-w Teal, Ring-billed
Gulls, Caspian Terns, Killdeer, a Pectoral Sandpiper, and very scruffy
looking
At least two juvenile PRAIRIE WARBLERS, as well as two Blue-winged,
Chestnut-sided, American Redstart, and Blue-headed Vireo are on the Wilson
Trail at Sapsucker Woods.

Montezuma Muckrace reminder again!! Today is the entry deadline. The
Cayuga Bird Club is currently sponsoring one team, The Plucky Mucksters
but we would love to reach our quota of three teams sponsored. Bird club
members, join up and make a team, count birds, raise funds and have fun.
Best,
Lind
RHWOs were definitely bringing out fecal material this morning...saw it twice.
Given that the young inside are not so big as to prevent the adults from
entering easily, I'd say it will be a week yet before fledging, maybe longer.
Photos to come...
