Between 15 and 20 Caspian Terns are spending time on a stony 'arm' reaching
into the lake about halfway between the access roads.

On Thursday 6 Aug I went with Ann Mitchell & Dave Nicosia to Knox-Marsellus and
Pudder to scout for the shorebird trip tomorrow which he will lead (meet 8am at
Montezuma NWR visitor center or 820am at East Rd overlook). Among at least 13
species of shorebirds we saw a single adult non-breeding

I plan to visit Montana and Glacier National park for a more than a week in
late August. Does anyone have any insights as to what place would be good for
