On my walk around Beebe early AM today: Quite a bit of open water with
4 COMMON MERGANSER. Also CANADA GEESE are apparently staking out
nesting sites on the island towards east end of Beebe. From other
posts, seems birds are getting a jump on spring.
We had our first ROBIN of the season at
Great afternoon for a short walk and some birding. Birded from Keith Lane to
Chaffee Road. In addition to the birds, we spotted one beaver.

Wildlife Refuge. A draft plan is available for review and comment thr
The Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing a new and unique kind of National
Refuge. This refuge will be created of separate parts across several states,
and it will be created to manage for early successional habitat. I think both

Hi all, lots of Snow Geese going very low over hunt hill road this morning
starting around 10. Also our first flock of robins and Cedar Waxwings are in
the yard.
