A pair of Barnacle Geese was found by Stephanie & Tom Schmidt among hundreds of Canada Geese on a pond (known by some as Lincourt Wetland), about 9 miles southeast of Utica on Cedarville Rd, Litchfield Township, Herkimer County. That was on Monday 24 October, and they continued to be seen there
