Hi All, This morning I had the pleasure of being invited by friends who work with Cooperative Extension to join a family educational trip out on Cayuga Lake on the boat called *The Teal*, otherwise known as the floating classroom.
Most of the cool birds seen were fairly close in near the lighthouse jetties and the mouth of Fall Creek. These included a flock of Brant and at least one Lesser Black-backed Gull with the other gulls on the jetty. The Brant seem to be sticking around today with the stiff southeast breeze. They were there mid-morning when we headed up the lake, and were still around 2 hours later when we returned. Jody Jody W.
