Hi All,
Apologies for the late post and for not previously alerting the birding
community, but I had a Buff-breasted Sandpiper in the visitor center pool at
Montezuma this morning. Please see my ebird report from 10:55 am. I had caught
a glimpse of the bird and had made a mental note to myself

Larue and Jackie report a BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER on the Wildlife Drive
this morning in one of the impoundments along the I-90 section of the
drive, just past the fuel tank.

The BUFF-BREASTED SANDPIPER found by Mike Tetlow a couple of hours ago is
still present with Killdeer in the plowed field at SE corner of Armitage
Rd. X Rt. 89, viewed from 89 just west of north end of East Road.

I would like to offer Dave full half-credit for the Buff-breasted. Not
only was it his suggestion that we try east road one more time at the
end of a long day, but it was also he who kept whispering in my ear

Hi Muckracers,
Going to go out on a limb, and after much debate, Carol and I are
pretty sure this is a Buff-Breasted seen at close distance at the new
shorebird area on the main drive. The light was terrible, but I feel
lucky to have seen it at all. Just a gentle reminder that if people
Saw a possible one in the shorebird area after the blind at Montezuma .
