It seems like the Chipping Sparrows, Eastern Towhees, and Eastern Phoebes all
took the same flight in to the Finger Lakes this week!
Yesterday I saw a chipping sparrow at the feeders. I also heard, then saw, the
towhee bopping around in a thicket at the edge of the yard. This morning I
heard
An orchard oriole showed up this morning joining the Baltimore orioles. First
of the year barn swallows as well.

Several singing eastern towhees and a gorgeous male Rose breasted grosbeak
among others in my yard today!
I’ve put out hummingbird nectar & a hanging tray of grape jelly with an orange
in case the cat birds, Orioles and hummingbirds come by.

In the fog here in yard a FOY RUBY CROWNED KINGLET foraging, singing & showing
his red crest;
I heard possibly a Black Throated Green Warbler but never got to see it.
WHITE THROATED SPARROWS singing "oh Canada Canada Canada" all around me, along
w/ usual regular feeder birds which include a
Feeling too sick to get outside today, so my FOY yard Rose-breasted Grosbeaks
and Baltimore Oriole came to my window feeder (together!) for my viewing
pleasure.
