There are at least 2 Great Egrets foraging on the ponds in Sapsucker Woods. Earlier there were 5 of them perched in a snag at the back of the ponds. Unfortunately, Wilson Trail north is closed for tree work, so the best viewing (and perhaps only view) is from the Crane sculpture near the Visitor
