I don't think this has been posted here recently, but the juvenile LAUGHING
GULL with the odd white outer primaries is still hanging around the south
end of Cayua Lake intermittently, most recently Tuesday evening and
Wednesday morning, then Wednesday evening. It seems to show up most often
in the
Livia and I checked the south end of Cayuga Lake this morning in the rain in
hopes of encountering the Laughing Gull present last night. We failed in
that respect and didn't see many other birds of interest either. A female
American Black Duck off Hog Hole was probably the only bird of note.

The LAUGHING GULL is on the red lighthouse jetty now, dimly visible from
Stewart Park.
