As of about 9:30 am Sunday, there were a number of Bobolinks near the road just at the junction of Mt Pleasant Rd and dirt road between the hills (PIne Woods Road). They are preening and resting in the switchgrass, a few on the wires overhead, and in the roadside shrubbery. Straggling groups taking off south. Nice to see them closer up. One individual making scratchy attempts at a jangling "song". I counted 57, lots more hiding I'm sure.
