We finally have nesting bluebirds in a pair of back-to-back bird houses in our yard. We've never been successful at getting nesting, 'though every year, some birds have in investigated our houses.
One of the 2 boxes has a confirmed adult and one egg. The other had 3 young birds. I didn't see an adult at that box, and chickadees had built nests in both houses earlier in the spring. The nests in the 2 boxes looked similar, but it's possible only the one box has bluebirds.
