A NASHVILLE WARBLER is foraging low near the Charlie Harper Bench (just
west of the Sherwood Platform) and a YELLOW WARBLER is near the
Observatory. Otherwise, it was rather quiet today.

There were several Common Yellowthroats, a Black-and -White Warbler, and a
Blackburnian Warbler in Sapsucker this morning.

Currently a very cooperative male BAY BREASTED WARBLER singing and foraging
on the inner trail of Wilson Trail North.

Today around l:30 I birded part of the Wilson Trail. The warblers seemed to
be around the foot bridge. The main group was on the path by the pond. I
saw Tennessee, Pine, Wilson's Black-throated Green, Magnolia, Blackpoll,
Nashville Warblers and a Redstart. There were close to 20 warblers there,

I walked the East Trail of Sapsucker woods late this morning. Highlight was a
CAPE MAY WARBLER in a massive group of Yellow-rumped Warblers, along with a B-T
BLUE WARBLER and a BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER. There were also quite a number of
NORTHERN WATERTHRUSHES and a GREAT CRESTED FLYCATCHER near the
Late this afternoon I found a BLACKPOLL WARBLER and a CHESTNUT-SIDED
WARBLER near the pond with the shelter on the East Trail at Sapsucker
Woods, mixed in with some chickadees. Along the trail I also found
four woodpecker species (Downy, Hairy, Red-bellied, and Pileated), a
Red-breasted Nuthatc
