Just had a SHORT-EARED OWL foraging around over the fields at the Ithaca Airport viewed from halfway down Snyder Road. I first spotted it perched on a small pole in the field. It changed poles twice, soared around a bit, then headed off across the road into the woods. This was at about 5:46-5:51pm.
