Had some interesting sightings yesterday on my walk around Beebe Lake and Mundy. As I was walking up the south hill of Mundy, I was extremely surprised to see a WILD TURKEY walking up the hillside. The bird was equally surprised by my presence and kept scurrying away as I continued up the hill. I eventually lost sight of it.

Another fun sighting was a BELTED KINGFISHER flying about the SW portion of the garden area loudly proclaiming, "This is my territory. Stay out! Unless, of course, you happen to be a female!"

Just off the southern portion of the trial around Beebe, I heard the incessant buzzing of a BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER. I eventually found it flitting about. FOY for me.
