I've been hearing what sounds like a Saw-whet owl the last few weeks in the evening. This is near West Miller road and route 96B in Danby. Heard it a couple nights ago around 7pm, but typically around 9pm. I've never ID'd one before so I'm only going on what I hear based on the allaboutbirds website.
