The Rufus Hummingbird was seen yesterday, but not seen this morning before my
wife and I left for work. Many people have reported to me after they stopped
by, but no one has so far today. I suspect it's still around and we just
didn't happen to see it this morning.

Birders are welcome to stop by. We may or may not be home. Park in our
driveway, which is on the south side of the house. Walk around the back of the
house to see the feeder on the north side of the house. There is a picnic
table on the lawn and chairs on the stone patio if you wish to sit while
waiting. On average, visitors report waiting 10-20 minutes for the hummer to
show up.

Our house is at 8407 Powell Rd, Interlaken, NY. From Ithaca take rt. 89 north
(about 18 miles) and take the first left after the Cayuga Lake Creamery. Then
take the first left onto Powell Rd. and our house is the first house on the
left.

Enjoy and share what you find.
