Job Title: Windows System Administrator
Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract*

REQUIRED SKILLS: *
5+ years of hands on advanced experience in building and supporting Windows
Servers including clustering.
Familiar with relational databases such as SQL Server 2008.
Experience with Windows Server 2003 and Windows Active Directory
administration
*
RESPONIBILITIES: *
Responsible for executing and monitoring ETL data loads
Maintenance and preventative care of Servers in the future
Participate in monitoring and optimization of stored procedures (including
ETLs) and report queries
Monitor the health of all servers.
Be responsible for the backup/recovery strategy for all databases.
70% day to day operations of the servers
General application maintenance
Installation, patches, upgrades, etc
Backups
Security
Coordinating interface failures through informatica.
Designing and developing data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and
loading processes and workflows to load data into various target databases
Collaborating with technical and business users to define performance
requirements and improve efficiency
Opportunity for this role to recommend ways to optimize workflow,
integration and other aspects of the tools utility in a system management
environment.
Clearly understand/review the client’s design standards vis-à-vis the
organization’s design standards and suggest improvements.
Understand the Service Level Agreement for support environment.
Good hands-on capability — can independently develop good quality
deliverable.
Review/get it approved by team lead/client manager/functional people.
Demonstrate an awareness of Best Practices in industry.
Communicate effectively with team members and client.
Present and discuss work results clearly.
