*Job Title: **QA Test Automation Engineer **

**Duration: 12+Months Contract*
*Required Skills:*
*1. 2-5 years of recent Java software development is required **
2. Must have Experience with Linux operating systems such as Red Hat or
CentOS is required. Montavista experience is a plus.** **
3. Experience with Windows (at least XP).
4. Familiarity with functional test automation systems and automating
manual functional tests
5. Experience with the use of C# in a windows environment desired.
6. Experience with Rational ClearCase.
7. A good understanding of object orientated programming.
8. Has familiarity with Eclipse and Visual Studio.
9. Some software testing experience. Has the ability to apply functional
and non functional software testing.
10. Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products (desired, but not required

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
*1. Develop automated tests using RA Test Automation Framework **
2. Write test fixtures mostly in Java, with some C#.
2. Review code and scripts used for functional testing of APIs.
3. Design test cases and review test case designs.
4. Work with developers to create tests and test scripts in parallel with
software development. *
*Leadership *
*1. Is able to work in a team environment, but also able to work
independently. **
2. Is comfortable working closely with team members and being accountable
for progress on a daily basis. *
*Interpersonal **
**1. Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and an ability to
work within a cross-functional team environment to achieve position
objectives. Projects involve the interaction between departments including
Design Engineering, Operations, and Quality. *
*EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: **
**Bachelors degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or computer
science. *
