*Required Skills:* Bachelor's degree in computer science or MIS. Masters preferred. 8+ years of experience in data base development specializing in ETL focused projects and tools. ETL development processes and best practices ideally using Microsoft SISS ETL tools. Strong knowledge of relational database design principles; performance tuning, indexing, able to assess trade-offs between in memory vs. I/O vs. CPU/database load. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server development. Ability to develop scripts using a scripting language such as perl or other scripting languages. Experience working with XML and other non-data base "flat file" data. Advanced SQL development skills and experience. Ability to effectively interpret technical objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/under-defined problems. Skills that are a plus: Experience with other ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend. Additional experience in DB2, IMS, and other data bases. Java programming or other language skills.
