Job Title: Jr. System Administrator Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 3 to 6 months Start Date: ASAP Experiance : < 10 years Description: - Configure, monitor and maintain Virtual Server farms. - Monitor system performance using standard tools (SCCM and SCOM) - Keep customers up to date and knowledgeable about what is happening with their server(s) - Have expert knowledge in supported operating systems to provide a deeper level of support and consultation to the team - Collaborate with remote plant personnel, vendors and other IT teams to provide server support and consultation - Respond to IT tickets and notifications received - Have a working knowledge of supported server hardware to allow troubleshooting of systems as required - Use enterprise support tools - Follow all change control processes and communicate across IT teams to eliminate risk and maintain level of service required - Have a basic understanding of SAN and general storage environment - Working knowledge of BUE backup software, and an understanding of how to support multi locations to a level that allows a backup and restore of a system (data or full bare-metal restores) - Be familiar with all Disaster Recovery and failover plans, to assist in the implementation of any failover or DR incident as needed - Understand Active Directory, including Group Policy, and NTFS security to create, deploy, and maintain GPO’s, AD Security Groups, create and secure shares and apply NTFS security to meet business requirements - Understanding of basic networking technology such as routers, switches, firewall and VPN. - Basic knowledge of Image technology. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Good analytical and problem solving skills Ability to learn quickly Ability to share technical knowledge with team members Ability to prioritize and organize daily tasks to ensure service level agreements are met Ability to work in a team environment Ability to communicate with end users to understand and resolve problems Good customer service skills Ability and desire to take ownership, seeing tasks and projects through to satisfaction and completion 4+ years MS Windows 2003/2008 system administration 2+ years experience with server virtualization 2+ years with Citrix XenApp 3+ years with Exchange 2003/2007 Experience in administrating windows domain structures and active directory Experience in TCP/IP DNS and DHCP management Experience in llS & web server management for internal and external servers and sites Good analytical and problem solving skills Familiarity with System Center Operations Manager and Configuration Manager Please Send me *Updated Resume along with Detail Summary & three Professional Reference *, so that I can call you and discuss the job in detail.
