*Key Requirements*

   - Experience with Java and supporting Java based applications
   - Experience on Oracle/SQL database and able to build medium complexity
   queries


*Job Description*

   - Incident management – Handle high priority incident tickets, work with
   members of the team and developers to resolve incidents, ensuring that
   affected users & management are always kept informed
   - Problem management – Ownership of problem tickets that have been
   raised for your application set. Collaborate with technology partners to
   provide resolution for open problems or ensure that the appropriate parties
   have been tasked with doing so
   - Knowledge Management – Create knowledge articles from the experience
   gained in resolving incidents which can be used by application support
   teams to solve incidents quicker and better
   - Technical queries and compliance/audit reporting
   - Business and technical communication for incidents
   - Compilation of trade data for business requestors (Compliance, desk)


*Following skills are desirable in the prospective candidate:-        *

   - Demonstrated knowledge of Tomcat applications servers
   - Understanding of message / JMS queues
   - Experience with Websphere / WAS logs
   - Experience in UNIX command line with ability to parse together
   multiple instructions
   - Experience in reading/writing/executing UNIX scripts
   - Ability to multi task, prioritise work and adapt during sometimes
   pressured situations.
   - Be able to effectively work with business users, developers and other
   technology colleagues outside of your direct team, across a broad range of
   business functions and at all levels of the organization
   - Ability to relate a technical issue to business impact and vice versa.
   - Follow issues along a technical or business process to define a
   problem to solve.
   - Be able to organise and relate unstructured information to plan a
   problem solution.
   - Proven track-record of problem-solving in time-sensitive situations.
