We need a Business analyst who has very strong QA skills. The candidate will build requirements documents, and will be responsible for functional testing against business requirements to support the validation of the proprietary Allstate benefits enrollment systems. The ideal candidate must have an excellent background working with databases in order to pull SQL queries against a MSSQL server. Candidate must understand work processes within a large data store and complex business rules. This role includes front end and back end requirements and testing. Candidate must be comfortable analyzing data, understanding data trends and presenting their findings as well as offering resolutions to system issues. Candidate must have experience working with multiple business partners to define requirements. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with daily challenges and opportunities. Self-sufficient, accountable and reliable. Primary Technical / Business Requirements: Required: MSSQL, Testing Automation methodology with HPQC/QTP(UFT) experience including Defect Tracking, Microsoft Office, and at least some programming experience preferably in VB. Nice to have: PVCS Tracker, Insurance background, business / software requirement development Secondary Technical / Business Requirements: Candidate must be: a great communicator, creative, agile, be able to balance efficiency with effectiveness. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a necessity.
