*Job Title* Healthcare Data Engineer *Project Location* Charlotte, NC *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI-TELEPHONIC + SKYPE* Minimum Requirements: Expertise in healthcare data domains (clinical, claims, billing, etc.) Required Expertise working with data in healthcare IT systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson etc.) Required Proficient with SQL – queries written by hand (not generated by BI tool) Required Experience with data analysis with reporting for certain healthcare use cases Required Experience in data mapping (source system to target system mapping) Required Experience analyzing data for format, content, relationships, etc. in its raw form before being loaded into database tables Required Exposure to data warehouse architecture and Kimball-style dimensional modeling Nice to have Exposure to IBM’s healthcare data model Nice to have Experience with data profiling tools Nice to have Bachelor's degree required Required Experience working with healthcare data from three or more major healthcare IT systems Required Basic familiarity with hospital and / or clinical workflows Required Familiarity with healthcare industry code sets (RXNORM, LOINC, SNOMED, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10) Nice to have Master’s Degree or Clinical Degree (Nursing, EMT, Lab Tech, Pharmacy) Nice to have Required skills: •Experience working with healthcare data from three or more major healthcare IT systems •Experience working with healthcare data – BI report development and/or data warehousing ETL •Proficient with SQL – queries written by hand (not generated by BI tool) •Experience creating source to target mappings based on data analysis and profiling •Expert level experience working with at least one of the following data domains – technical and professional billing, pre- and post-adjudicated claims, revenue cycle / patient accounting / accounts receivable, EHR data to support clinical quality measures and/or population health management, ancillary support systems (lab, pharmacy, radiology, OR, ED, etc.), HIS / patient registration scheduling and authorization •Basic familiarity with hospital and / or clinical workflows •Must be adaptable, comfortable with fast-paced start-up environment and innovating new processes •Must be willing and able to learn new source systems, technologies while on the job •Ability to engage and collaborate with team members and customers •Bachelor’s Degree Expertise in healthcare data domains (clinical, claims, billing, etc.) and across workflows (inpatient and outpatient) o Expertise working with data in healthcare IT systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson etc.) o Experience with SQL or other database query technologies in mining data for analysis and sleuth and understand data issues (data quality, confirm customer use of data) o Experience with SQL to transform source data into target mapping o Experience with data analysis with reporting for certain healthcare use cases o Experience in data mapping (source system to target system mapping) o Experience analyzing data for format, content, relationships, etc. in its raw form before being loaded into database tables o Strong logical, analytical thinking, problem solving skills o Strong collaboration and communication skills – role will have interaction with external customers as well as internal developers (ETL and QA) and project managers Regards, Sonu Singh Recruiter *RG Talent Inc* *32108 Alvarado Blvd, Union City, CA 94587* Phone : 510-443-0757 x 167 Email : sonusi...@rgtalent.com URL : www.rgtalent.com *Disclaimer: The information in this email is confidential and may be legally privileged.
