I noticed that when I have an incoming dial-peer with protocol sip to the CME,
I cannot do forward all of the incoming call to another extension
While if I changed the dial-peer to be H323 in the same setup, I can do call
forward all to another extension with no problem.

The CME does not place itself in the media path when both endpoints are
registered to a single CME. When you have two endpoints communicating to
each other that are registered to different CME's, the CME routers will be
in the media path (not tested).

can someone tell me if a CME router always places itself in the media
path? I mean, I know it is in the control path - relaying signaling -
but does it always terminate and regenerate the RTP stream too - thus
acting as a MTP? Example: a call from BR2 phone to CCM will have a RTP
stream sourced
