The CME does not place itself in the media path when both endpoints are registered to a single CME. When you have two endpoints communicating to each other that are registered to different CME's, the CME routers will be in the media path (not tested). With the ProctorLabs set up, H450.2/3 is not

I mean, I know it is in the control path - relaying signaling - but does it always terminate and regenerate the RTP stream too - thus acting as a MTP?
