Right. I guess the scenario would be as follows:
single zone
no tech prefixes default or otherwise
no e164 registrations
no zone prefixes
So in this case the only way to route calls is using the alias command
in gatekeeper.
This is fine with call manager because we can set the service paramet
On HQ side I can only call 911 and backinto the same number but nowhere else. I
ahve double checked all my Route Pattern etc . No incoming call to HQ phones
other than when I call myslef the call goes thorugh... anyone seen this before
please.

There shouldn't need to be a reason to do an alias static. Your CME
e164 numbers will register with the GK already.

I have a question regarding 6608 xcoder for IPCC.
I have my 6608 Transcoder in a HQ region which does g711 within and g729
to others.
One of my phone in SiteB1 calls the CTI RP for IPCC and gets a fast
busy..
If I change my 6608 xcoder to be in all g711 region then the call works
