Way to go, Jeff and everyone else that worked on this. I am one of the
silent majority that happily mooched off of this discussion string and
learned something along the way.
This is what this list is for, and because of that, I really hope that this
OSL is here for the long-haul and that this

It appears that the root cause of my problem was ignorance. When I
tried to use the ip unnumbered command for the service-module, the
router barked at me with an OSPF warning/error telling me that I did not

creating a new subnet 100.100.100.0/24 between the Service module and

So? That error doesn't hurt you. Ip unnumbered still works desite OPSFs

Hi Brian -
Problem so far is just with SCCP phones. I have not attempted
SIP phones yet, was taking one baby step at a time
Right now, I have just finished doing a reset to factory default of my

Sorry if you said already... But. Is the problem impacting only SIP phones or
SIP and SCCP phones?
Calls to SIP phones are handled by automatically generated VOIP dialpeers and
since CUE calls are handled by a VOIP dialpeer, try allowing SIP to SIP calls
(CUBE).

In the original post, I included a screen shot of the CUE web page.
Yes, I am using the outcalling method.
The correct MWIs were imported from CUCME and are shown correctly.
The defined CME IP in CUE was NOT the same as the SIP bound address.

Make sure you are using the outcalling method. Make sure mwi #'s are
imported correctly in cue. Make sure the defined cme ip in cue is the
same as the bound sip srcaddr in cme.

The debug that I originally included was all the return traffic there
was.
I have just run another call, left VM message, and captured the entire
thing with dialpeer debug. At the end of the call, I pressed return

What is of interest is the dial peer match after the message has been
left (or simply resync mwi from cue) and not the dialpeer match as you
leave a message. You should see cue call the mwi # prepended to the
dn- for example 39993001.
There are two primary reasons why the mwi will fail.

Recently I've been working on configuring phones for non-cisco devices and
have been forming some questions in my mind I'm hoping to bounce off of
someone. So, if you haven't had to worry about it in the past, configuring
Cisco phones for non-Cisco devices can sometimes take some extra effort on

command (http://www.elemental.net/~lf/undoc/) and knows how to fake the
calling number ...
Or what happens when you dial "MWI on" from the phone itself?

Jeff,
After you leave a message in 3001's mailbox, do you see any output from the
debug voip dialpeer and debug ccsip messages?
If so, please attach it to the thread,

Still looking for any assistance here. Anil and Vik offered some ideas,

I can leave and retrieve a VM with CUE, but the MWI does not light.
