Hello Stephen,
In that case the H.323 gateway configured in UCM with the UCME loopback ip
address (h.323 incoming call source address) takes precedence over the h.225
trunk and process the incoming call instead, it's that way by design,
Please follow this SRND link:

Today I worked on la 2 of Vol. 2. I am confused about the solution given in the
PG for question 6.3
- Signaling traffic should be placed in the second queue, PG mentiones only
cos-map. Shouldn't this be done for the dsp-map as well?
- Third bullit: adjust SRR so that Q2 shapes to 50% of the
Please see the following link for installing/replacing a 4.2 CCM Subscriber.
NOTE: select the 'Server Replacement' option when prompted during the install
procedure.

Basically you rebuild the server from scratch;
Otto,
Thank you for the response, and especially the link to the SRND reference.
So I guess that the only way to get this to work is to either support
H323 inbound fast start on the CUCM, or insert MTPs on the CUBE to
translate SIP early media to H323 delayed offer?

Hi Otto,
I am talking about CME as SRST. The calling name is the

Double-check to ensure the CTI Route Point is registered, if not, delete from
UCCX and re-add. Also, UCCX requires g711 so if you are calling from a region
that will require g729, you will need a transcoder.

One more thing, make sure your CTI ports are registered too.

Have you assigned the trigger to an application? You stated there is a trigger
that is working. Assign the new trigger to that application to test.

Randall,
We have tried to summarize a typical path to CCIE success with our

Jefferson- there is nothing to keep to myself, we all know you you are the
man and will give account of yourself
I would use UCM to do the firmware upgrade. Follow these steps:
(1) Add the CME phone into the UCM database (add a new phone).
(2) Assign a number to the phone- dummy number will do, just necessary for
SIP phones to register.
(3) Point the TFTP server of the CME phone to the UCM server running
Using telephony-service can you add the ³name² command into the ephone-dn

set to the desired calling name. This is not possible with
