Hi Amy,
Thanks a lot for quick reply.
I tried this scenario in the lab, and it is working as you mentioned for
MGCP gateways.
But for H323 gateway, the display on the phone is the destination-pattern of
outgoing dial-peer, is there a way to manipulate that too.

Hi cisco voip
i think the best practice to manipulate the called # for H.323 Gatewys as it's
Peer to Peer
is to do it on the outgoing dial-peer vy applying voice transaltions
i do not think CM can do something in this case , because the gateway can
handle it .

performance reasons. Additionally, it's less cumbersome to configure (no

Hi Brain,
I have set my mobile number to be 2123942123 and on the debug I can see the
same number coming into the gateway but still no joy. Any other ideas?

Hi guys,
Actually I'm working on lab6 Vol2 section Mobility, and I can't get MVA
hairpinning working.
When I call MVA number 2123945010 the call connected and disconnected. I've

Hi,
I have found that if I entre 2123942123 as my remote destination number it
prompts me for my pin. I have check there are no “Calling Transformation Rules”
applied to the gateway. It seems as if the calling number is not being passed
to the UCM.
Thanks

Hi,
Are you using additional H.323 gateway hairpinning in order to enable MVA
(i.e. your main gateway uses MGCP)? In such case this is expected bahaviour
(always ask for ID).

Hi everyone,
I am having trouble finding any information regarding how to configure
