Hi Ashraf,
8.6(2) or 8.6(2a) release note does not have paging feature information.
On cisco site, Features and services guide is still version 8.6.1, so,
can't check whether paging is included in 8.6.2 or 8.6.2a.
I have not got CUCM 8.6.2, so can't check it.
So, has santa claus arrived and we

Hi Ken,
The main concerns with autoprovision all mode are:
1. Call Routing: A main concern when using predefined DNs or srst
autoprovision all/dn modes is call routing. In non-fallback mode, when the
call reaches the gateway (e.g. PSTN call) it should be routed to CUCM which

I'm working on Workbook 2, Lab 7, section 3.3. I created a CFB resource
on BR2 and associated it with the BR2 MRGL. This MRGL is associated
with the BR2 Device Pool. When using a BR2 phone to create a conference
it works with no issue. It allocates from the br2-cfb resource just

Thanks Ash for your reply. No I do not have any problem understanding it.
The problem is that when I am at customer site and troubleshooting a
production network I can always access RFC 2705 via internet to double
check certain code’s definition.
But in the CCIE lab we don't have access to RFCs.
Some time ago I had the same question, because as I knowm the Tc interval
is calculated based on the CIR and not based on MinCIR or Adaptive CIR.
When the Router receives BECNs or starts the VATS, then the Tc interval is
not decreased or something else. The Bc value decreases jsut and thats all.

Well it depends which features are you going to retain.
For instance, if you are going to use the hardware conference resources in
SRST mode, for cBarge for example, then you have to configure the
auto-provision mode DN at least, so that you will be able to configure the
Ad-Hoc DNs.

Yes this is correct. In EM same service URL is used for login/logout. This
was introduced in UCM 5.x. Before that two separate URLs where used.
