I'm having an issue where I see the RSVP bandwidth request showing 96kbps,
instead of 40kbps, for a g729 call (on the initial b/w request while ringing).
I've double checked my config against the solutions guide and verified region
settings and MTP configuration are set properly. Is this a CUCM
New ver 4 is comming in next 6 months now cisco will officially annonce the
same soon.
Its not at all to 2 about this bec its almost now 2 to 3 years pass in ver
3 so now they have to upgrade to ver 4 cucm 9
I just cleared my lab so did nt worried much now

Go into CUCM Service Parameters and change both the default inter and intra
region codec settings to G729 (in the Clusterwide Parameters System - Location
and Region section). That should fix it.
