Hello All,
I have the following questions
1) which is the best way to bind the service module to the router is it
requried to bind it to the loopback of the router or the interface ? Also is there any other routing related problems that we need to
take account before doing this?
2) On my HQ
If the FTP server answers when plugged into BR2 it sounds like the FTP part
is good. Does the server answer when you telnet to it on port 21 from the
switch? Eliminate every possible 'in between' issue and work out until it
fails.
To me, it does seem like a different setup to not have any WAN co
It should not be a VMware setting
Where are you running the FileZilla server?
Can the cue ping the ip of this and do you see the packets actually get to this
server?
What version of windows are you running the FileZilla on?
What is the host system?
Can you post your configs of the br2 and 37
You have full cmd / administrator access on the UCCX server.

It's pretty strange that you have ping connectivity but it's not answering.
Can you telnet to the FTP server from the switch? Also, BR2 is directly
connected to 3750? No WAN setup to route traffic from HQ servers to BR2?

Sounds like it's a routing/acl issue then. Can you ping to/from the
CUE/FTP server? Are there any devices/ACL's in between that would block
this? If the CUE is a few hops away and you have devices that are closer
to the FTP server you could start at the closest one and work your way out
and teln
ping wotk both ways and no firewall block issue. most likely my VM setting, I
choose "Bridged" in VM workstation.
is that ok.

So that confuses me
You have a virtual machine running on your PC and it could ping back and forth
but did not work at first however when you attached it directly to BR2 it
worked, it sounds like a routing issue.
Did you have BR2 issue an IP to the PC or are you static?
How were you connected
yes ping both ways work. I just figured out because of VM setting, that cause
FTP not working between PC and BR2 router CUE (When i direcly connected the PC
to BR2 router, it is working)
in my VM workstation , i use "Bridged : Connected DIrectly to Physical Network"
Wondering if this VM net

Hello Karen,
There could be multiple issue, but seems like routing issue to me.
1) first check the connectivity, try ping from CUE to your FTP server IP and
vice versa?
2) Path is shared (where license is there) on FTP server.
3) re-verify the username and password or create a new one, and share
Awesome. Congrats, Randall!

Hi,
I have a router, POE switch and phones for sale. Everything is configured and
works with Proctorlabs PODS VPN access. This is what I used to pass my lab.
PM me if you are interested.

Um, if a question says to prove CUCM is using some feature, I would suggest
using the CUCM logging system to prove it. I doubt that they will accept a
Gateway debug as proof of CUCM using some protocol or features.

Start with the simple stuff, can you ping the FTP server from the CUE
module?
Can you ping the CUE from the FTP server?
My guess is one or both of these will not work but let us know

Make sure you have an IP route to the CUE module IP Address from all your
routers and servers.
You need to make sure the Loopback interface you're using for your
Service-Module is part of OSPF.
The CUE module address has to be pingable from everywhere. Example:
"Ip route 10.10.115.2 255.255.25
Is your loopback address routing? You might have to add the ip ospf network
point to point command.

hi all,
When i try to install license from FTP to CUE, it failed and gave me error

I used h225/h245 asn1 traces and didn’t get the points, so I think they want it
form CUCM.

Hi,
I wonder how your filter would be valid. I think theres a ) missing at the
end.
And you are using a & - which is AND. I guess you wated to have an or there
which is the pipe symbol |.
I think this is what you need:
(|(|(ipPhone=8500*)(ipPhone=8505*))((ipPhone=514*)(ipPhone=8800*)))
