Hey everybody. I'm getting this strange error lately, as soon as I enter the
command "pri-group timeslots 1-3 service mgcp" on my controller.
*Oct 17 12:20:36.675: voice_port is not initialized

Now THAT, is bragging! :) And rightly so. I need three machines to run
everything :(

Yeah, I don't think we need to be stressed about this. I received the BLS
material last year (all the V2 stuff), and like clockwork have had access to
all the updated workbooks as they were released. There's no need to panic,
they'll deliver.
It's gonna be awesome!!!

Urgh! Gang, please help!
So, I've got a AIM-CUE in my lab (cause the NME-CUE is too expensive) and
the AIM was all I could get my hands on. Problem is - she's not working. :(
Well, I'm hoping that she really is working, and that I just don't know how
to get it to work. And after posting here,
Nice one Peter!
By the looks of it, that could actually make the ccm-manager config and
server commands workable! I wouldn't mind testing them myself but maybe Vik
or Mark can "see" if there's anything fundamentally wrong with this
approach?

Yup, and also, when using those commands, it assumes you are not using a
fractional PRI. If they tell you in the lab, that you DO only have a
fractional PRI, then using those commands won't make life great.

Hey Everybody!
I recall seeing a post somewhere regarding which version of IOS we can use
that still is pretty much on par (feature-wise) with what's on the BP, but
that does not require licensing for the GK feature. 12.4(22)T does require
licensing, hence, I'm kinda stuck.
Any idea?
Same here! Using my own lab, although*sigh*, I don't have EVERYTHING
that's needed. Got some issues with the CUE (AIM) module, keeps rebooting
over and over again. And then there's also the issue of not having enough
WIC's and ESW's. So have to run my entire "WAN" and HQ + BR2 + PSTN phones
off

Hey gang!
Sorry to ask a non-study related question, but just want to make sure all my
ducks are in a row:
I wrote the written exam on the 9th of May last year, and booked the lab for
the 9th of November this year. That's exactly 18 calendar moths. So it
should be good, right? I haven't tried boo
I think it has to do with the fact that translation patterns always have the
"Urgent Priority" checkbox checked. I've also had this happen to me on a
couple of occasions. As soon as it matches a TP with enough digits, it will
stop looking for other matches.

Hi,
Sorry, I think I posted my reply only to Mark.
The solution he gave worked like a charm! So this mystery has been solved.
Thanks!

Hi Saud,
It sounds a little confusing. Let me know if I got this right?
You want to be able to dial an extension, but it might be one at a remote
branch that's only connected via PSTN, so you have to translate that
extension to full e164 number?
If the statement above is true, then it seems you
Hi team,
This is going to sound bizzarre! And maybe, a little amateurish. But for
some reason, I cannot get dhcp on cucm 7 to dish out IP's! If I enable it on
a router or switch, no problem. I know this is the most basic of functions,
but it's bugging me insanely.
