bandwidth total on the gk. any call going to a voip dial-peer needs
bandwidth permission from the gk- since you are using g711 the gw will
request 128k (EVEN THOUGH THE LOOPBACK interface is on the same router, the
gk doesn't know that). If you use bandwidth restriction within the zone (eg
bandwidth total) then the call will fail. See the RAS messaging (deb h225
asn1) and you will see an ARJ come back.

Subject: CME with BACD & GK



When my gateway registers with the gatekeeper, CME phones get fast busy and
"Unknown Number" when calling AA pilot.  As soon as you enter "no gateway",
it starts working.

 

It works fine as long as the gateway isn't registered with the gatekeeper.
Any ideas?
