Hello All,

I am trying to create a MeetMe Conference with announcement using CUC.

In CUCM
Set up a partition and css called meetme
Set up a MeetMe number of 1234 and place it in meetme
set site A phone 1 with line CSS of meetme (phone also has device CSS of
Site A)
set VM ports to have CSS on DN of meetme (ports also have a Device CSS of
site A)
set up CTI RP with number 1234 and forward all to VM

In CUC
set up call handler called MeetMe1 with extension of 1234
set Greeting to Callers Hear [*] Nothing, after greeting call handler
MeetMe2 [*] attempt transfer

set up call handler called MeetMe2
set Greeting to Callers Hear [*] Nothing, after greeting user with mailbox
[*] attempt transfer
set Transfer rule, standard, Transfer Action [*] extension 1234, Call
Screening [*] Ask for caller's name

OK this is what happens, caller site A phone 1 picks up phone, presses
MeetMe button and double beep, press 1234 joins conference (hardware
conference created at site A RTR and registered to CUCM and set to MRG/MRGL
for device pool siteA) site B phone 1 calls 1234, CUC ask for callers name,
forwards to conference but name is never played. Not sure if it is
supposed to be but I never get it so just wondering. I can actually do
show sccp conn and see CUC is the source of the connection then phone IP is
shown after. So play back of name does not seem to be happening. I do have
a transcoder available if needed to do G711 to G729 and the conference is
working.

Any ideas?

Bill
