Matthew,
Thank you for giving me the closure I needed for the next step. Now I can
say with conviction that Call Routing is "in my blood!"
I still got long ways until March...
Thanks again

Route group manipulations that occur within route list membership are for
that route list only.
As an example, if I have the following RL/RG's
RL-HQ: RG-HQ
RL-BR1: RG-BR1
RL-BR2: RG-BR2
RL-HQ-BR1-TEHO: RG-BR1 (**), RG-SLRG
I can make calling party modifications in the RG-BR1 denoted with (**)

Hello Experts,
I was labbing this weekend (Lab 5A IPExpert), and I started trying out
things to clarify any doubts I would have. I didn't have enough time on my
sessions to try this out, and I am wondering if you guys can give me any
input on this.
I create route groups for HQ (RG-HQ), and BR1 (R

Can you name when on the lab would you ever configure two devices on same route

I don't think this is ever done on the lab. Even if it did, its not a matter
of preference, but a matter of matching the task requirements.

Cris,
I think circular is better. If you use top-down , outgoing calls will never
use 2nd device & difficult to find out whether outgoing calls are working
well through it.

Hmm,
Just to reconfirm,
Route pattern of 521
-->Route List
--> H323 route group
-->siteb h323 gateway
--> 6608 route group
--> 6608 pri gateway
So, if call to 521 failed on first route group, it
a null interface on a h323 gateway.
