Hi,
I am working on CCIE Voice IPX Vol1 task 5.1, as mentioned in the question, I
removed the SIP and tried to configure the HQ Router as H.323 GW. The issue is
it is affecting the task that I did in Lab 4A (4.6 and 4.7).
Basic question, can I have a router acting as H.323 GW and also as the

Hope this helps.

HI All
When the Branch-1 is in SRST Proper Mode (call-manager-fallback) When i am
trying t press voice mail button its playing system greeting not the user
greeting ,its there any thing i need do on CUCM in order to play user
greeting when the phones are in SRST..
Thanks

The way I get around this is a HQ gateway CSS with a translation pattern for
2220 in its own partition. Caller Id mask of . Make sure the number
translates to 2220. Not the slickest way but it works

Yeah guess the confusion is we did not know the integration/vm server type.
So it works fine when registered to UCM but not in SRST?
If it does work in register mode, I would look at my inbound ANI and see what
your extension is expanded or changed to over the PSTN SRST dial peer. So now

I think this is for Site B not Site C.
In UCON for this user un-check the set for self enrollment check box and see if
it works as expected. You will probably want to hard code the PIN if you have
not already done so and make it so it never expires and cannot be changed.

Are you doing the cue config by cli with username scph1 pin 12345 and voicemail
mailbox owner scph1 and enable then no tutorial? Or by web page config?

My guess is that your calling number was expanded from 4 digits to something
bigger because of you long distance dial peer. Choice one is to use alternate
extensions in Unity connection. If you are not allowed to do that change the
calling number mask on the hunt pilot to

I configured my VM when in SRST when i press the message button it goes to the

I think your translation pattern should be changed- you want to set the fwding

I believe vm-integration is required in any case where RDNIS doesn't work.

In addition to what Vik memtioned, also make sure you have a specify
dial-peer that matches the VM number exactly (no 9) and does a
'forward-digits all'

Hi
Hi Vik
I am folllowing the configs for VM in SRST.
I used VM integration but still it goes to Unity
pening greeting instead of the greeting for 2001.
Under noraml it hits VM of 2001.
Here is the debug and config on Br1 -
