Right - Vik doesn't mention to reset the individual port or to disable
it - because on a 6608 blade architecture - the ports are all tied
together using 1 single port processor for all 8 ports. So disabling
one really confuses the blade.

As a note I had several people look at this inside Cisco as well and could
never find a solution. We had several ports go

them. When I tried to re-enable them, the switch returned an error message
"F
