[OSL | CCIE_Voice] mlp vs frf.12 when to use ???

hi folks, from my observations, i found that mlp would be used if and only if, there are two sites connecting to a single site via the same physical interface. And, for frf.12 we use it for ppp link. please correct me or advise me if i m wrong. Thank you

MLP (multilink PPP) as a technology exists to allow multiple links between a pair of sites to act as one logical link. MLP by itself originally didn't support Link Fragmentation and Interleaving (LFI) over Frame Relay. The two technologies that you are studying (MLP LFI Over FR/ATM and FRF.12)
