Dear all,

The group for Bio-Medical Research with Xrays (FS-BMX) at the Center for
Free-Electron Laser Science at Deutsches Elektronensynchrotron in Hamburg,
Germany is looking for a motivated PhD student interested in developing novel
tools for serial crystallography at XFELs and synchrotrons.

The group has developed the Roadrunner goniometer, which allows for very
efficient and fast sample delivery and is based on micro-patterned silicon
chips as sample holders. In the framework of the Roentgen-Angstroem cluster
funded project ”InCellSX” they aim at developing novel micro-fabricated
substrates for on-chip growth of insect-cells and highly-efficient screening of
pharmaceutical compounds.

Details about the position and how to apply can be found here:

For further information please contact Dr. Alke Meents +49-40-8998-5468
(alke.mee...@desy.de).

Best regards,
Sebastian
