Hi Anamika, Just to be clear, the M13 ori is for production of ssDNA using a helper phage. Replication of that plasmid is more likely from another ColE1-derived origin elsewhere on the vector and also likely to give high copy numbers - which it seems it does. The p15 ori is indeed quite a low c

Here is another one from a few years ago. Monomeric in solution. Turned out that the cys in question is a redox sensor in the yeast nucleus (which we didn’t know at the time) so don’t necessarily dismiss these as xtal artefacts! Lesson learnt here 😊 http://www.rcsb.org/structure/1SW6 Steve Sme
