A 2-years postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Zhiyi Wei at Department of Biology, South University of Science and Technology of China (SUSTC, Shenzhen, China). Our research interests include signaling complexes governing neuronal development (Mol Cell, 2011, 43; PNAS, 2012, 109 & eLife, 2014) and molecular machinery for target recognition (Nature, 2014, 515 & PNAS, 2013, 110). We offer a highly competitive salary (US$36,000-48,000 per year) and other benefits. The research work will be conducted at the Research Center for Life Science, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for X-ray crystallography (Rigaku-007 plus Pilatus detector, crystallization robot), protein chemistry (BiaCore T200, ITC 200, MALS, etc.), and cell imaging. The position can apply research funds as PI for future career development. Candidates should have received (or expect to receive) a Ph.D. in biochemistry or structural biology with strong publications in protein chemistry.
