PhD Positions are open in Dynamic crystallography and WAXS in the context of
an European Initial Training Network.

The PhD will have the opportunity to be in a training and exchange program
between leading European Groups in Dynamic crystallography using Advanced
Synchrotrons and Free Electron Lasers.

The target of the studies is engineering and studying heme protein dynamics.

Your profile: You hold a Master or equivalent degree in a natural sciences
discipline. Background and strong interest in structural biology, biochemistry
or biophysics is required. Experience in one or more of the following areas
would be beneficial: X-ray crystallography, biophysical protein
characterization, time resolved techniques, computation.

The Dept. of Biochemistry of the Sapienza University of Rome is dedicated to
research in biochemistry and biophysics of proteins, within the largest
University of Europe. We are an agile institute with a PhD program in
Biochemistry and a wide network of global collaborations.
