Dear all, As part of the European ITN MepAnthi project, a PhD student position is available in the Synchrotron Group at the “Institut de Biologie Structurale”, Grenoble, France. The project focuses on the development of selective and potent inhibitors of the anti-infective targets from MEP pathway (biosynthesis of the isoprenoid precursors), which is entirely absent in humans but is essential for medically relevant pathogens. The IBS’s task will be the structural analysis of the last two enzymes of the pathway (IspG and IspH), using a drug design approach.
