Postdoctoral Positon, Reference HH_00079

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral position in the BioSAXS group. The group has a strong experience in SAXS data collection, analysis and interpretation. The group runs a high brilliance P12 BioSAXS beamline providing and support for over a hundred groups per year. The BioSAXS group is also involved in the development of novel experimental possibilities for high brilliance X-ray studies of biological objects. The successful candidate will be involved in the daily operation of the beamline, in external user support and exciting collaborative projects. An important part of the work will be development of new experimental approaches and biological sample environments for highly brilliant and intense X-rays, e.g. utilizing anomalous scattering, time and space resolved SAXS, microfluidics etc. Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant field (physics, engineering, structural biology), and we specifically welcome applicants with a technical background. Knowledge in X-ray instrumentation and experience in biological scattering/diffraction would be advantageous. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams are essential.

Best regards,
