Dear all,

For anyone interested in giving fragment screening a try, Zenobia has been
offering a 352 compound fragment library designed to serve as a first-pass
screen by x-ray crystallography (and other methods such as SPR, NMR) since
March. The library was prepared and reviewed by experienced FBLD scientists
from SGX Pharmaceuticals and Abbott Laboratories.

The first batch of the library, prepared at 200mM in 100% DMSO, has sold-out.
For our second batch, to provide additional flexibility in the choice of
co-solvent, we have changed the format to dry film. This allows testing in
systems sensitive to DMSO as a co-solvent. As before, the library is plated to
facilitate screening of shape-diverse mixtures and comes with simple screening
instructions/suggestions.

We offer this to help facilitate new and existing laboratories give fragment
screening a try - and welcome your feedback on libraries that may be helpful to
you!
