Dear All,

A fully-funded Postdoc position is available in my group at the Wellcome Centre
for Cell Biology at the University of Edinburgh. We are interested in
understanding how motors and microtubules cooperate to ensure cell organization
and faithful chromosome segregation.
We use a combination of techniques – cell biology, biochemical and biophysical
approaches and structural biology - to investigate how tubulin isotype
diversity control microtubule and motor function, and the molecular mechanism
underlying dominant negative mutations in tubulin. The project will involve
determining the structure and function of tubulin isotype-specific microtubules.

Please contact me with informal enquiries about the positions
(julie.welb...@ed.ac.uk)<mailto:julie.welb...@ed.ac.uk)>. The closing date for
applications is 11th January and full description and link to the applications
can be found below
