Hi,
Maybe asking here is worth a try:
I’ve got an HP Itanium machine running HP-UX 11.23. There seems to
be a bug in ld, which prevents building newer gcc versions:
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=64919
That’s my current status:
# what /usr/bin/ld

Hi,
just recently I found this archive:
https://vetusware.com/download/OSF1%20Source%20Code%201.10/?id=11574
this is a package of source code for DEC OSF/1 V 1.0. I knew that this is
supposed to run on DECstations (with MIPS), in fact I have a DS3100
running it myself.
However, one thing really

It is probably not heat that melted the rubber. It’s likely degradation.
Some rubber parts get dry and break, some parts sort of

A Challenge M is basically a server variant of an Indigo2.
What you have looks like memory for a

Hi John,
thank you for the idea. I finally managed to boot and install Ultrix 3.0.
I prepared a new harddisk image under Ultrix 4.0. I could find
/usr/sys/SAS.net/vmunix in the Ultrix 3.0 distribution tapes. This
is a standalone kernel that will start the installation process. It
can be booted
Hi,
I do remember that when installing HP-UX 9 and earlier, you could not
mix and match SCSI and HP-IB. If you boot from HP-IB you can install
on HP-IB, if you boot from SCSI, you can install on a SCSI disk. That may
be a limitation in the installer. Once you have everything installed, you
can
Hi,
I am looking for years now for bootproms for a SPARCserver 600.
I have been able to obtain 2.14 prom images and they work. This
allows upgrading the CPUs to SuperSPARC I. However, you need
2.14.3 to install faster CPUs and some slightly different 2.14.3H
to install HyperSPARC CPUs. There is a
