Hi all,
I have a Sun 3/110 with a faulty video section (hangs at boot when it polls
the FB) and I want to be able to probe and troubleshoot the board. Does
anyone have any tips on how to get at it since it's buried in the VME
chassis. I was thinking of having an extension card made but thought I'd
Does anyone by chance have a schematic for the 3/110 main board? Its been
running great until recently where my framebuffer died. It boots right up
to where it polls the cgfour and then stalls. I was hoping to do some
troubleshooting.
Thanks,
Kurt

Hi All,
Does anyone by chance have a collection of fans? The one in my Sun Sparc
Classic died and I am having a hard time finding a replacement with the
same specs. Or can anyone recommend a good source?
It's a Nidec BetaV, TA225DC, Model M33402-55
Thanks!

Hi All,
I lent my Sun 3/80 out to someone and it came back pretty damaged. Does
anyone by chance have an old 3/80 carcass laying around that has a good
rear plastic bezel P/N 600-2209-02? If not, does anyone have any plastic
repair suggestions? Also one of the rear feet (narrower rear one) opposi
Sorry, typo... they are XT-8760E drives.

Hi All,
I have two Maxtor XT-4380E drives, one is a Series Code 3 and the other is
4. Is it OK to swap the boards between the two or is this a bad idea? They
physically appear to look the same.
Also a general question about PCB cleanup. Is there a method or solvent of
some sort to clean boards? I
I was going to mention him too but you beat me to it. He does really great
nice work. I've had a few QIC drive rollers replaced through him.

Hi All,
Back after a long time away from this list... I happen to have a small herd
of Apollo DN3500/4500 boxen which i pulled out the other day to see if they
still run. Sure enough they still boot up (one has a flaky PS but i have a
few spares). Anyway, the last time i fired one of them up (runs
